Styling and Design

It’s no secret that many people dream of driving exotic cars. One of the most appealing aspects of both Lamborghini and Ferrari is their unique styling and design. They may seem somewhat similar at first but take a closer look, and you’ll notice a clear difference.

Ferraris tend to have sweeping bodywork and features a mixture of hidden aerodynamic characteristics. Take a look at the Ferrari 812, for example. It has a front diffuser and curved dams, which help the vehicle move through the air with ease.

While driving a Ferrari feels elegant, Lamborghinis tend to be a lot less subtle. This is the type of car you see in music videos when you’re trying to flaunt your peacock feathers.

As for the interior, both of these cars have incredible craftsmanship. Lamborghinis are more utilitarian than cozy, and Ferrari puts more emphasis on a variety of elements co-existing. This means combining function, form, comfort, and convenience all in one.

Let’s Talk Performance

What’s on the surface isn’t the only thing that matters. You’ll need to be impressed with what’s under the hood as well. Fortunately, both of these vehicles are associated with impressive horsepower and speed.

In 2019, the fastest street-legal Ferrari was the 488 Pista. This had a maximum speed of just over 210mph! You could also go 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds.

If you think that’s impressive, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has a maximum speed of 217mph with a similar acceleration time. Lamborghini manufactures vehicles with even more horsepower than that.

It can be difficult to pinpoint what makes a car exotic, but we like to think that these remarkable features are definitely part of it.

Price Tag

If you thought regular cars were expensive, you might be a bit surprised to learn exactly how pricey these supercars are. The least expensive Lamborghini and Ferrari are both around $200,000.

You also have to consider their mileage; that type of performance isn’t the most fuel-friendly. Ferrari models with the best fuel economy have a combined MPG of 18. For Lamborghini, it’s 15MPG.

Be sure to include the cost of insurance and registration in your budget as well!
